Meet Our Coaches

8 & Under Blue & Red Programs

As the Lead 8 & Under coach, Coach Sarah's number one priority is making sure swimmers have fun while developing sportsmanship, compassion, and belonging to a community. Swimmers will spend time learning and refining all four competitive strokes, the IM, starts and turns. Additionally, they will learn how to keep themselves and their teammates safe in the water.

Coach Sarah returned to SWAT in the spring of 2022 with the 8 and Under group. She previously coached the boys' and girls' teams at Franklin High School for five years, as well as for SWAT during the long course seasons in 2013 and 2014. She started swimming when she was 9 years old for Green Bay Swim Club. She continued swimming throughout high school and the first two years of college at UW-Eau Claire.

In her free time, Coach Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, staying physically active, and gardening.

Coach Kaitlin is in her 12th year with SWAT and is proud to be leading the 8&U team. She started competitive swimming at the age of seven and it has been a part of her life ever since, including a successful high school and college career in Minnesota. Besides coaching, Coach Kaitlin stays busy as a Spanish teacher and mom of four boys, all of whom swim for SWAT. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors running, swimming and gardening, and doing home projects with her husband.

She started coaching with the Schroeder Swim Team where she was the Head Novice Coach, coaching all ages of novice swimmers to advanced / state level.
